Thank you for the info on the Barrie Club! That sounds like a lot of fun! I will try to get my husband to join with me. We have never been to bancroft but I would love to go! Do you know of any places there that we could go even in the fall - like old rock dumps or something like that? A friend told me that some of the mines are closed to the public in the fall.

A great way to get rid of those pesky bugs!
Hi all
I was resently sent a email from a friend who is also a rock hound. On my last outing in the woods my kids and I were under attack by mosquitoes and black flies. Bug spray never seems to last long! My friend suggested buying listerine (yes the mouth wash) and using a spray bottle, to spray it on your self and your clothes. As I will try almost anything once I took his advise and surprisingly enough it works.
I think I will use it instead of bug spray from now on. Its cheaper, works bett… Continue
